May 2024: In May, PA Central hosted a Community Shred Day called “Shredding Hunger”.
Many Members and friends from the community dropped off boxes of papers and documents that were processed by Shred-It on site in our parking lot. In exchange for shredding services, those participating were asked to donate to PA Central’s Central PA Food Bank collection. Over $625 was raised and PA Central MATCHED the donation to support families in need in our local community. About 2,500 pounds of paper and old documents were safely destroyed on site! PA Central holds two shred events each year in Harrisburg and Palmyra location.
