PA Central recently did a number of #PayItForward drives to support our community.
Here are some of the highlights:
In November & December 2020, PA Central Staff and Members donated over 300 pairs of socks and slippers to the Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City region and 113 pairs of socks and slippers, nine hats, and 22 pairs of gloves to the Lebanon County Salvation Army.
In February 2021, PA Central started an animal awareness campaign called Furry Friends February. Items and money was collected for the Harrisburg Human Society and Rock Run Animal Rescue. Items collected for the Humane Society included: canned food – cat/kitten/dog/puppy, Purina Kitten Chow, cat toys, dog toys and Kongs. Members donated $150 to Rock Run Animal Rescue to help them with monthly expenses like their $1,200 hay bill every month to feed the rescue horses and other farm animals. One of our staff Members donated his Golden Egg winnings from our St. Patrick’s Day staff event to bring the total donated to Rock Run to $200!
